  • be careful with the barbantia bins with the push top lids, they break really quickly, shop i used to work in kept a stock of the lids out back, normally 10-15, and we re ordered at least every fortnight.

The lid on mine broke after about 2 years use and brabantia replaced it quickly no questions asked. It still looks as good as new and I would definitely say they are worth £14-18 of anyones money. I paid approx £9 for mine when index closed down.

I got 2 boxes of Denby "Blue Linen" tableware (16 piece sets) for £5 each. This was this afternoon in Yeovil, Somerset. The SA was putting loads of stuff out and said there was a lot more to come out - sadly that was all the Denby though!

Dont suppose there is any chance you could post the barcode please?

    Hi Gilly Flower

Are you sure this was Denby? ie. did it say so on the box?

I only ask as I am also in Yeovil and whilst I have seen the Tesco own brand blue dinner services I have never seen Denby in there. The Tesco ones are absolutely lovely, and very similar in style and colour to the Denby ones, but not as good quality as the Denby I have now. And the plates were too wide to fit in my cupboards

  • Does anyone know if Tesco still has the Olay Regenerist stuff on offer? somebody on the Boots thread said to try here.

Tesco Extra Stevenage were selling 30 and 50 litre Brabantia bins for £14 & £18 respectively.

Are the bins at full price £49.99 but show the reduced price when you take them through the checkout?
  • Re: Denby Blue Linen sets - yes the sets I got yesterday at Yeovil are definitely Denby - I'd got a set at half price (£25) a couple of months ago and thought this was good; but obviously even better at £5 (my mum is very happy as some is going to her!)
The barcode is: 4560650986, description: Blue Linen 12 piece tableware set (think I put 16 piece yesterday sorry) ( 4x dinner plate, 4x tea plate and 4x soup/cereal bowl)
They were in the 'seasonal' aisle, not housewares and the assistant did say they were the last ones.
    Happy hunting at other stores!

Go to tesco.com and click on "Groceries," where you can search for "regenerist" and see what they have. You can order online with your groceries, or (I would assume) buy them in store. :)

Well done then Gilly Flower, I got my Denby Jet Stripe at Street and a 24 piece set cost me almost £300. If Denby Jet Stripe is available anywhere cheaper I don't want to know

Anyway, well done on such a fantastic bargain
