Are you planning to carboot soon?

My husband and I have managed to get together a huge amount of stuff for a carboot sale. We want to do the carboot ASAP as we want to put the house on the market very soon and want the stuff gone and money made as soon as possible. Our current house is tiny, so we don't really have anywhere to store it.

But is it too early to do a carboot? Will there be many buyers going to them? Will it be worth the time and effort this time of year?

Thanks

Car boots run all year round in this part of the country - we are a hardened lot in East Anglia!

But having said that, I am waiting for spring - just the thought of the cold is enough to put me off for the time being!

I know, up until this weekend that was what I was saying to my husband. But now the clock is ticking re putting house on market etc, we need to do it sharpish. My husband has offered to lend me all his clothes to wrap myself up in which is nice.

There are quite a few indoor ones dotted about the country, http://www.ukwhatsonguide.co.uk/car_boot_sales.htm there is several guides inc that one with days and times of car boot sales, but always be aware that they are not always up to date.
One day I might be more organised...........

  • If you make a pound, it is still a pound in your pocket and while you're at the boot fair, you won't be out spending - look at it that way
