g&g wellies from charity shop

Options
Hi,

I think I got a real bargain yesterday. I bought what looked like a brand new pair of 'G&G' wellies for £4.50.

I was curious to know what they normally go for but can't find mine anywhere on line.

They are brown with what looks like gold handcuffs all over the boot, but looking closer they look like two gold links from a belt or chain. They also have a smattering of glitter all over.

Has anybody bought these and if so, how much were they new.

I was chuffed to bits at my bargain, but am now worried in case I've bought 'worn' shoes - and couldn't see past the 'bargain'!!

I can't bear the idea of wearing used shoes ( but they seem to have absolutely no wear inside or out) - but I just keep remembering when I was a kid going to the local ice rink and having to put cardboard in the skates to cover the exposed nails!!!

Don't know about G&G, but I found these wellies http://www.amazon.co.uk/Woolf-Wellies-G-Ladies/dp/B00473J35O which were £35 - so bargain xx
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.

I assume it's just the name of the company that makes them. They look quite snazzy

Hi, yes I believe they were a bargain - even if they were cheap new (£10 or something).

My only concern is if they've been worn. I was so chuffed at finding some wellies at a bargain price. I note the shops hugely increased the prices the last couple of years due to the sudden bouts of bad weather.

Although, as I said, they look brand spanking new! I suppose it was because they were in a 'second hand shop'. However, on reading some of the posts here it - it would seem that people often find brand new stuff in the charity shops. If so, I'm now hooked!
