Edinburgh publishers Canongate Books are launching a new backlist imprint, The Canons, an eclectic range of titles that reveal the quality of the Canongate list. They include Yann Martel's Man Booker Prize-winning modern classic, Life of Pi (2002), Alasdair Gray's Lanark (1981), Michel Faber's Under the Skin (2000), and Muriel Spark's Collected Stories (2001).
