Lowell Portfolio/ o2

Hi all, i have been advised to start my post over here again, so here goes.
I am almost 19 months into a 2 year contract with o2, paying my bill monthly from my bank acc. But when i took out the contract with cpw, the phone did not arrive within five days, so i called back after seeing that the package was returned to depot (DHL), the guy cancelled the first order, then put through a new order.
Afew days later the phone arrived, and i was happy, or so i thought.
I started to get letters in the post looking for £1030, for a contract that i had, i called and called asking about this bill to be told that they o2 only had one account for me, (the one i currently have). So eventually my mother, in her 70's, produces a package that had arrived like 3 months ago ! so i did have another phone after all, that i knew nothing about.
I tried to return it to the origional point of contact (cpw), to no avail in the stores, the workers saying that they could not take it off me bla bla bla. And had numerous talks with someone on the phone who told me to take it to a cpw shop and they would put notes on the system saying that the shop were to take it off me, which they did not and would not.
So 16 months later and been on a merry go round with cpw and o2 and a few debt collection agencies i still have the second phone at home and unopened, and am being chased for a bill of over a grand, i am at the point of no return, i will not pay for someone elses mistake, i am happy to return the phone to whom ever but no one seems to want it, (including myself) so any help would be greatfully accepted by myself on this,
HELP ME PLEASE !!!!!!!!

You have no case because you had the phone for 3 months before you tried to return it so O2 can chase you for the money.
  • And you know this how ?

When you set up a moblie contract over the phone or on the internet you have 14 days cooling off period and you are well past that and the story about your mother having your phone for 3 months without your knowledge is not a vaild excuse.

its your mums mistake, no CPW
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Get your mother to pay because you are stuck with the debt and there is no way out. It sounds like they have default you for the debt so your credit will have a default on it for the next six years even if your mother pays the debt for you.
