Hi everyone
Today I took the dog for a long walk and discovered a bit of the village that has a stile to go up onto the mountains! One for when it's nicer weather I think...
Also found 11p in the road - so that's money for nothing.
Also bought fags (yeah I know) and News of the screws/World for the starter token for £9.50 holidays.
The car I'm sposed to be selling has now a broken accerator cable and my `freebie' old banger given to me by my mum is now burning oil ! Big sigh so I'll be bussing it from tommorow till I can afford the garage and the spare part.
Never thought the Haines manual for minis would be the (unprefered) reading in bed tonight over Pride and Prejudice.
Oh well.....

All I can say I have done really is my The High Street Web clicks on Quidco (Kelkoo doesn't work for me on my home PC - grrr).
I did some washing but have had to use the tumble dryer a bit as the weather's been hit & miss but am trying to get stuff dry on the line where possible.
Erm, will probably go & pick BF up later to save him getting a cab, I guess I can add that although it's his own money I'm saving not mine.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

I took my housemates and myself shopping at Lidl today, did pop into Sainsburys on the way back for luxury items though. I spent the rest of the day helping to clean the house and have made a big pan of soup for the week. I should not have to spend anything until next week."Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it." (Montgomery, L.M.(1908). Anne of Green Gables.)

I've just found a load of lentils in my cupboards. I havent a clue what to do with em.
Is lentil soup nice, and more importantly, easy to make?Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I parked on the outskirts of town for free and walked in rather than pay for parking.
General hatred of public transport rules out ever using that as an option!

- been looking of ways to save some more money on this website

Good:
Stayed in doing house work so NSD, sorted out some things to go on ebay, switched Gas/Electric providers (finally makes sense to do it - have checked every sunday for 6 months - previously it has been under ten pound saving), Signed up for TalkTalk (again our exchange only got upgraded this weekend), parents brought lunch and dinner.
Bad:
Only down side was that I thought I had clicked the Quidco link for TalkTalk but I hadn't so missed out on the £25.0
