What next??!! cca + settlement advice needed!

After years of ignoring letters and phone calls, I finally decided to deal with my debt. Yesterday I decided to make some calls and find out who my debt was with:
Credit card 1 - £3200
Credit card 2 - £1960
Overdraft -£1190
During my calls I found out the CC1 defaulted in February, was sold to someone else and is now with a DCA. DCA 2 only just started handling the CC2 debt since the beginning of this month. They rejected my offer of 580..
I only started doing my research after I spoke to them, and now realise I shouldn't have called them!
What's my next step? I'd like to get these debts cleared and I'm in a better position now to deal with them. Ideally I'd like to make to get a settlement offer and get them out my life! As they are debt collectors, should I send them a letter asking for cca's? Assuming that they don't, will this increase my chances of having full + final settlement offers? I've accepted my credit rating is probably really bad, I haven't dared to look, but if I can stop the calls, letters, threats I'll be really happy!
This seems like the right thing to do but I'm not sure....?? thanks for your help!

if you have defaulted then asking for a cca might be a good idea. could result in lower offers being accepted
when were the cards frst taken out?0 -
I dont have exact dates but I think the CC1 was around late '06 and CC2 late '07, possibly early '08.
I was quite good with payments when I first got the cards. I didn't start missing payments, ignoring them until 2009 / 10, does that make a difference??0 -
quite likley they would have a valid cca then
may be an idea for the ones 2007 and earlier, but i would start thinking about what you can offer for a f&f without that0 -
HOw much do you think I should offer?
Thanks for you help on this!0
