If you bought the inks separately on amazon (one black, one tri-colour) they would cost £26 on their own. Maybe you could get compatibles for less than £14 but my experience of these is that they are a false economy

Usually printers arrive with starter cartridges, so the saving from one with supplied inks is questionable. It was posted for those who regularly use compatibles anyway, which I do, without major problems.

Genuine cartridges have an anti clogging agent which is not present in all compatible cartridges, so this can result in clogged printer heads on printers which do not do much printing
