Friend travelling round the world - need a gift!!

Hi all

My lovely friend starts jet setting round the world in the next 2 weeks. I want to get a present to remind her of home. I was thinking about getting a small box and filling it with photos of all her friends and putting poems or little thoughts on the back of them. She is also very girly (we call her princess p) as thats what she would love to be, so i cud do with some ideas for some princessy small presents.

Only problem is that as she will only hav a rucksack with her it cant take up too much room.

Anybody have any ideas?

How about a digital camera for her to take pictures and upload them onto a site where you can also blog your journey and keep in contact with your friends and family

We done this for a girl in work last year who went travelling around Australia and she uploaded the photos onto a travelling site which had a map of everywhere she travelled plus their is a message book etc...

If she's a girly girl like me she would probably like a pink passport cover!!! My mum got me one when I went off to New Zealand for 3 months.
My friends also bought a small notebook (as I was leaving my job to go) and got all my friends, family and colleagues to write messages, jokes, poems and doodles so I could read through them if I ever felt homesick

you can buy a nice travel journal for her to keep a diary in.
