Quick question...

Signed up for Noddle and there are accounts registered that were not on the recent £2 statutory reports I got from all of the CRAs.

One of these refers to a defaulted account from 2005 which is now statute barred, however the default date has been recorded as December 2005. I have a letter from the original creditor in July 2005 issuing a default notice under section 87 of the CCA - surely this should be the default date?

Or can defaults be registered months later? (I think the December date is when the debt was sold on)
Sorted out my finances...

    Hi Scott,

As it will drop off your credit file in December and then become statute barred, I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you intend trying to settle it though, I only offer around 20% of the original debt amount.
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

    £2 savings jar £300:D
Total credit card debts £1250:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: - Will I ever learn!!
