Ring up your credit card companies and ask them to lower your interest rate

If you are going to do this, at least check up on competitors offers, have numbers, names of accounts/cards and everything else to back up a decent argument on why they should reduce interest.

At the end of the day, if needs be, remind them that they are the ones making money out of the debt as opposed to there competitors, do this as a last resort, if this doesnt work, then switch

I'm not even going to bother as all my cards have indian call centres and I can never get them to understand what I want and just end up going round in circles and spending money on the phone call for nothing!!

Ha ha! I agree with that!
Although, it makes no sense that companies would just reduce your apr surely? They need to make dosh somehow (hence aprs being put up after the recent 'claim back your unlawful bank charges' trend)
