Now, I am not strick about these
However - I have some bread flour (checked for insects), pastry mix and steamed puddings (microwaveable) that are about 6 months old.
Would I be best to throw out and start again or do people think these will be ok?

The flour should be O.K. as there are no insects in it.
If the other two packets are sealed then they should be O.K. also, but if NOT sealed then I wouldn't risk it as the fat in the pastry mix may have gone off.0 -

Yes, the other packets are sealed. I have enought flour for 5 loaves of bread (no fish though! I'm vegetarian!)
And the rest will give me puddings every day for at least a week. I'll never lose weight now. The microwaveable puddings I left because my microwave stopped working and has mysteriously started again. This will test if it works correctly!Not Rachmaninov
