Cheapest decent Duvet set?

Hi,

I am a student looking for the cheapest decent duvet set. Looking for:

- duvet (high tog for cold weather. Double or single)
- pillows x 2
- sheets (ideally plain coloured and cotton, not polyester)

Argos seems quite cheap at £10.99 for 13.5tog double duvet, anyone seen any better prices/quality?

Have a look on eBay Argos Outlet. Try and avoid polycotton as they have a tendency to bobble.

I bought a similar duvet you mention last year from Argos with the intension of using it for visitors, haven't had the opportunity to use it yet so not sure what it's like. If it's anything like the one I bought in Tesco a few years ago then it should be OK as it appears more or less the same. The Argos one I have is only 10.5 togs, paid about the same as you've mentioned above, I think Argos are currently the cheapest too for this type of duvet.

even on a single bed get a double duvet as its nice to have extra to overhang not having to keep pulling it over you primark and b.m do cheap sets as do supermarkets.

Do you have a Dunelm Mill near you? Theirs are fabulous value.

If you want to combine low cost with quality, look at the basic range in M&S either in the sale or when they have 20% off bedding.
