I think they are just building a Twitter following?!? Everyone who enters has to follow them as well as whoever setup the comp.
I like it, a nice little system.0 -
I see what you mean but why do they want a Twitter following if all they do is give prizes away? Most comps on here are given out to promote an event or product. This just seems a bit like the win a prize type sites that have been posted on here before.0

Weeowens, it does say that the prize is from http://twitter.com/recombu - they hold regular competitions on twitter. hth xThanks to all posters :A0

This is what concerns me. "
This application will be able to:- Read Tweets from your timeline.
- See who you follow, and follow new people.
- Update your profile.
- Post Tweets for you."

once the comp tweet has been posted you can revoke competwition's access by clicking on your screename at the top of your Twitter homepage, going to settings and then clicking the applications tab. Although this might get a bit laborious if you plan on keep on entering competwition hosted comps! If it helps I've never revoked access since the first comp I entered with them and they haven't randomly posted anything on my account other than the initial comp tweets.
As jaibaby said I understand competwition to simply be the platform companies are using to host twitter promotions for them, same as wildfireapp. Competwition isn't offering the prizes, it's the companies using it, in this case recombu.0
