payday express wont help

icon1.png payday express refusing dmp offer help
Hi Guys

I have been going through the awful process of adding some payday loans to an existing dmplink3.gif. I fell into the payday loan trap but after contact payplan and telling them my situation they wre wonderful and agreed to help

However 2 of my payday loan companies - payday express and paydayuk are refusing to be part of the dmplink3.gif. They are stating as I already had dmp they will not accept my offer. I cannot afford to pay them the amoun they request and obviosly eed to respect other lenders and cannot favour them above any other debts. I feel really stressed - they are threatening to pass to an external debt collectionlink3.gif agancy - does anyone have any experience of this.

I just desperately want to get on my feet again with the dmp and pay back what I owe

any advice would be greatly appreciated

Why did you take out payday loan's AFTER going on the DMP? Surely you would ahve known that this was not allowed?

An external DCA may be easier to deal with - tell them to stop messing around and get on with it.
  • do you think I should write to them asking to advise who the DCA will be so we will corresponde with them. In answer to the question of why - I had a resturcutre of my job and lost £4000 in earnings - my boiler broke and I felt desparate - I know I made a mistake but I honestly did not realise I was unable to take the short term loan there was no criteria I saw against it and when I did take the loan I was expecting my bonus from work which after it being scrapped I was unable to repay. I would never make this mistake again but I had no where to turn for help and was desparate

We all get into trouble now and again - and it seems like you felt you had nowhere else to turn. I'm not as much of an expert on DMPs as many on here, so hopefully someone will be able to offer good advice.

In the meantime - well done on facing up to your fiancial issues. All the best :)
