Lenders will only see the information that you can see on your statutory reports from the 3 different CRAs (depending on which one they search). If experian show you have 3 defaults then this is what they will see.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

thanks a lot tixy,
doesnt make sense to me why theyre different

Presumably you only think you have 3 defaults?
What I would guess has happened is that experian seems to have an occasional fault that sometimes duplicates every credit account on a credit file. People have seen this on their file but the experian rep always says a lender cannot see this (no proof that this is the case).
Maybe when they looked at your experian file they saw 3 defaults duplicated and this is what is on their system.
I actually thought that experian didn't provide default information to checkmyfile, I know they certainly provide less info to them than the other 2 - which I think provide th whole file, but if yours shows defaults then I guess it must be provided. But as its not the detail of who the defaults were from checkmyfile cannot tell if they were duplicated.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
1) Some lenders may report to Equifax/Callcredit but not Experian
2) The reports from the 2 different sources may not have linked all the account data up in that same way. Can happen if previous address histories or other data supplied are not quite the same when applying for reports, or just that the systems didn't link things up in one case when they should have.
Best thing is normally a separate report from all 3, being very careful to make sure all addresses history for the last 6 (preferably 9) years is correct and supplied when applying.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

hi sorry, i have just double checked and its equifax who have the defaults on checkmyfile and only 3 on the statutory one0

Well, as Tixy implied, checkmyfile don't get any account/default data from Experian (I think). Just things like CCJs.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

But are you talking about 9 separate defaults, or just duplications?
As said, then way to get the most accurate picture is separate reports from the 3 separate agencies. checkmyfile seems to be rather unreliable.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

rather shockingly, and from my much younger days, yes there are 9 seperate defaults and these are due to fall off aug 2013.
none of them are duplicates,x0
