Making my new but second job my main job before pay day!

Making my new but second job my main job before pay day, so I don't get BR taxed on my earnings!

I have been told to put a P46 in saying that my new job is my only job so that I get paid the right amount on pay day and then phoning the tax office to explain the situation.

Any ideas?

Thanks

That is going to potentially cause and underpayment of tax. Fill out the P46 to say it is your 2nd job then phone HMRC up to let them know which job is your main job.

Anything else will mean you will owe tax as you will get two lots of personal allowances at once.
