Can anyone help me, I'm looking for an easy pasta recipe to make shapes (stars and trees) that I can dry out and jar up as little Christmas gifts.
All hints tips recipes and links are greatly appreciated.
I have done a search that brought up nothing... and looked through the cooking stickies

I just use 1 lrge egg per 100g of flour for pasta, I've never heard or thought of making decorations with it- although you can make them with salt dough so why not!
Just had a google and thought these were rather sweet although made with bought rather than HM pasta!

And some decorations in salt dough

We already do salt dough decorations , son gets excited when we make them.
I'm hoping to do the pasta to add to hampers, or as a similar idea to the snowman soup type things, put in nice jar, add an recipe tag for something easy like a cheesy pasta or how to add to soups to make Christmas soup.
To dry it out, do I just leave it out to dry or put in the oven like salt dough?Living Simply, not simply living.Weight Loss - 5b/55lb
