Are you able to make do without your car? That seems to be your biggest outgoing. Also, can you get a cheaper deal for internet/mobile/telephone.
Well done for making the first step and the best of luck.Debt free as of 28/11/11 :j

Hi can you rent out a room or two in your house to bring in some more income? I think maybe it would be a good idea to get some free professional advice from Citizens advice bureau or one of the other free charities.0

I can't see that much else to add. How much is in your emergency fund up to now? Enough to cut out a month or two to pay towards debt instead?
Are you tied in to a mobile contract or could you go PAYG?
You could try going food shopping later on in the evening, when supermarkets are reducing stuff. Also batch cook & freeze extra portions.
Always fill up with fuel at a supermarket or garage you have a loyalty card with, eg nectar, tesco clubcard, morrisons miles (providing they are still the cheapest for petrol of course) It all adds up & you can use rewards against food.
I also think you could save on your landline/internet package, check out http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/utilities/?tab=13 and go through Topcashback if you swap providers.
Can't think of anything else, but best of luck#39 - Save £12k in 20250 -
thanks for the ideas.i do have my spare room on the crashpadder site.i have only had one person from there up to now.unfortunatly i just don't seem to live where anyone wants to be.
up to now my mobile has always been on payg but i have been wondering if a contract would be better when i see some of the deals people get.am off to check out the link for landline/internet providers.
many thanks.there is no wealth but lifesealed pot challenge#240
