Free Croydon tram travel (all weekend)

All Tramlink services are now running.

To mark this, and to encourage people to travel on the trams in Croydon and support their local community and economy, trams will be free to use this weekend - Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 August..

To benefit, Oyster users are asked not to touch in and not to purchase a ticket.

All Oyster readers will be switched off, except for at Wimbledon.

Oyster pay as you go users using Wimbledon station will need to touch in and touch out as normal and an automatic refund will be applied to their card.

This means passengers entering the station will need to the touch in at the gate, and again on the platform.

All those leaving the station will need touch out at the gate.
