Please can I get some advice from you lovely people?
We just got engaged on Friday and planning wedding for June / July next year.
We are thinking of a church wedding, with the reception at our local community centre but I just can't visualise how this will flow well, which is putting me off a bit.
Can you help me work this out?
We are thinking of a wedding about 3pm,
then photos at the church.
Back to the community centre
This is the awkward bit. Was thinking of no drinks reception, but jugs of cocktails on the tables along with sandwiches. Do I get people to sit straight down and let them chat with background music??
At weddings I have been to before there is the standy about bit with drinks, but can't see how that is possible in a community centre. There is a separate room but quite small for 60 ish people. We could possibly open the doors and use this as a reception area with drinks and chatting for a bit before asking people to take their seats. What do you think?
Please help me. I am already starting to think I can't do the planning of all this on my own!! My family are useless so I can't count on themk for much help. Perhaps I need a wedding planner??

Thanks so much Donna, that flows really well and avoids the awkward hovering stage!!
It's frightening because there isn't a lot of time really and I must book a venue soon, but didn't want to go with something that won't work.
So much to do! Already feeling a little bridezilla!
Thanks for the link to the stationery, will have a look this eveStaring point of debt £23,343:mad:
