Wouldn't touch these with a barge pole. Had one which stopped working after two months, was replaced by Boots (where I bought it from), same thing happened four more times, complained to Phillips, by this time it was 12 months and 3 weeks since I'd bought the first one and they refused to replace/refund as it was over 12 months since original purchase.

There are reviews all over the internet saying the exact same fault has happened. Obviously a design issue.

Go back to Boots with sale of goods act, not fit for the purpose it was sold for, and to prove that you have had four exchanges within a year. Any problems go to Trading Standards.
