End of Mortgage looming

Hi All
As the title my Tracker is finishing and thats it, 25 years are up and i owe the Alliance Leicester 20k.
Now i know its not a lot but my endowments are long gone cashed in and invested in isa's and a good move that was.
I will have nearly reached the 20K target by end of November when its due in a separate instant access cash account an was debating what to do,,payup,, remortgage or and invest the 20k again. :think:

THere is a lot to be said for mortgage free.
Do you plan to move and need more borowing in the future?0 -
No moving is not on the cards as the kids are grown up, may consider trading down but nothing imminent.
Mortgage free is feeling the right option in this current climate of jobs and finance but just thought id ask in case ive missed something0
