Homemade christmas decorations

I've had a quick look but can only really see threads on homemade christmas presents but not decorations, feel free to point me in the right direction if there are any.

The choice of decorations here in Greece is pretty naff, so I'm always looking for ideas for nice things i can make, hanging ones, tree ones and table ones.

Am going to make paper bunting to string across the ceiling, decorated with purple and blue stamped snowflakes, should look quite nice.

sophsnan, i've had a go at making the clove oranges a few times but it absolutely kills my fingers-they do smell lovely though.
