To be honest, I would stay away from loan brokers as used wentworth direct and didn't realise they charged me £65 for the service and had loads of pre-approved loan forms through my door for months on loans with interest rates around an average of 29 - 39%
My advice = stay away from loan brokers and do your own research. Check your credit file and rating and use the MSE tools to find out the best possible deal for you.0 -
hi
do you guys know Aspire Money?
are they a genuine loan broker? they sound too good to be true!
they shop around and get you pre-approved deals then they place the application? really??
any info would be great! thanks!
I don't think there are any 'genuine' loan brokers!"There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
Of course it's a scam, it "sounds too good to be true"!!

There doesn't seem to be such a thing as a genuine loan broker these days. This forum is full of people being stung by them and I have never seen a single post where they have actually delivered a loan.
If you've got bad credit or to much debt you're very unlikely to get a loan these days. Anyone who claims they can get you one is almost certainly lying. Anyone who claims they have a preapproved loan for you is definitley lying. There's no sense crying over every mistake.
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.0 -

hmm, ok I get it, everyone seems to agree on this...:(
when you say "stung" what do you mean ?0 -
You get charged about 70 pounds up front. Then they simply disappear altogether or at most pass your details onto even more scammers.
They don't always tell you there is an up front fee, sometimes they say your bank details are needed to simply to prove you have a bank account.
The very second you give them the final digit, they withdraw the money.
If you are dealing with this type of company, you are not going to get a loan. You need to look into other options.0
