Thanks for that cande. I've just logged on to see if anyone had been yet as we're just about to leave for Knowsley. Glad that there was no hard sell (we're skint, lol).

Not much, BUT went to Woburn recently and had poo, wee, a big monkey sitting on the wing mirror (causing some concern around its strength!!), fighting monkeys on the roof etc. etc. Previous car had had rubberised rear spoiler bitten and wiper blades attacked!!

I can see where Hyundai are coming from, with a fleet of 15 brand new cars!! Although have also seen a Tiger jump up the back of a car, and I think rhino's have charged cars before. I guess they still went through these enclosures.

Went to Knowsley today. It was fantastic. Got there just after 12, signed in and was given complimentary wrist bands for all the rides. Took the test drive at 13:45 returned the car expecting the hard sell from them. But, was just given a questionnaire and they offered to show us some more features.

Yeah, you're not 'supposed' to, but when the iphone tour says follow the Hyundai signs to avoid the monkey enclosure, and there are no signs, and the 2 i40's infront of us went into the monkey enclosure, we just happened to find ourselves following 'oooopsss' ;););)

Oh !!!!!! you go in there in your own car afterwards BUT I wouldn't go thru in my own car anyway.

Many moons ago I had a company van, it broke one weekend and I was given a Vauxhall Vectra as a hire car so we decided to go to Woburn in it.

Anyway drove thru the monkey enclosure and the monkeys jumped up and down on the wing mirrors and popped them off. For a laugh before the next circuit we got some of the Koi food and sprinkled it over the car when we hit the monkey enclosure we had almost every monkey on the car they scratched all the paint on the roof and then dismantled the rear washer assembly and removed over a metre of washer pipe. Luckily the hire car co didn't notice so got away with it....

I'd NEVER go thru there again in my own car those monkeys are incredibly destructive and if you're the unlucky one on the end of it....

Personally I find the wolves, bears, lions and tigers MUCH more interesting than some skanky monkeys

I wouldn't fancy the insurance excess (if there is one) for doing so...
