Lol What if you buy the stand with the tv then take the tv back ? Presumably they'll show as seperate items on the order ?

Just got a call back within 3 mins of placing the order, saying "sorry we can not sell this to you, it is part of a package deal, sorry" oh well worth a try :rolleyes:

Just got back from my local store with my stand, lad on the reservation desk looked bermused and walked off and 5 mins later said you should not be able to order these off the internet and then said take your form the till and they will get it from the back.

Went through the til at 1p

My advice is go straight to the till and give them the reservation number and they will put it through the till and charge you and give you a receipt and bring them straight up otherwise they have more chance of refusing you

Hmmm, I reserved one in Darlington store but gave a false phone number - now I'm wondering whether to bother to go and pick it up, as Darlington is about 20 miles away and might well be turned away. Almost wish I'd given my real phone number now, at least they might save me a trip!

I have just rang my store asking if my reservation was ready to pick up ... was told he had some in stock but really should be sold with the TV's as he had the TV's to sell too ... said he will ring me back in a few mins so he can see if he can order anymore in for the Tv's so I can collect one from store.

I'll keep you posted ... fingers crossed!

I've got mine! Took quite a while and involved quite a lot of lies on Currys side of things. If they had been honest then I would have walked out the shop without one but after being fibbed to I got the hump lol.
I also got a little something extra for my trouble. Will post later as they know about this thread.
