Folks
Does anyone have any solid recommendations to fit a clutch for a Ford Focus North Down/Bangor area?
I've been quoted £250+ from two garages!
Cheers
Yours hopefully

Sounds very reasonable for a clutch, call Stephen Dunlop, Dunlop Automotive

£250 is REASONABLE!
for a Ford Focus 'Complete clutch assembly' fitted & guaranteed0 -
Is this for a MK1 Focus?0

It's a 1999 1.8 Ford Focus LX.
"£250 is REASONABLE"
The car itself was 1500 so nearly 20% of the car value still seems expensive.
Ultimately it's cost prohibitive (& it's about to die a death) so I'm urgently looking out for a trustworthy mechanic who does 'homers' etc. rather than a commercial garage chain where I know it'll be dearer.

Bit pricey asked the neighbour who replaced his focus clutch at Easter, he got the kit from euro car parts for £80ish and a local mechanic fitted it for £60, All done same day for under £1500
