Has anyone signed up to the Lyoness loyalty card and been using it?
It seems to be a good way at getting regular discount from Asda among other stores and I believe it works by preloading the loyalty card or ordering discounted coupons. I wanted to hear feedback from anyone using the cards already. Thank you.0 -
Simple extreme UK couponing, where tills gererating coupons seem more common
e.g.
Tesco/Sainsbury's Spend £50, get 5p/L off fuel.
1. When you are in Tesco doing your shopping, buy something small but expensive to take you to the qualifying spend e.g. £50. ipod dock, Iron, Clothes are the best
2. Get the fuel coupon
3. Redeem the Coupon - £3.00 off a 60L fill
4. Next time you are back in Tesco, take the expensive item back for a refund
£3.00 discount on a fuel fill, gratis :money:0 -

It seem like just another of the many cancerous affiliate driven websites offering small discounts to you, coupons, cashback to you, or donations to a charitable cause.
I find it strange that Asda have joined with most of the other retailers in funding this inductry, where there is commission and discounts everywhere. After all, didn't Asda have a famously self-congratulatory ad campaign last year where they even switched off the warehouse lights, to drive the final last penny savings to the Asda Price back pockets of it;s shoppers.
It all smacks of middle men, marketeers, bull-sh1tters, loyalty schemes and Google Analytics all skimming their few %tge off, funded by the long suffering customer.
If the supermarkets got back to basics and reignited EDLP (Every Day Low Prices), I think we'd all be a bit better off.

Just back from holiday in Egypt, and the almost complete absence of BOGOF's and deals and multi-buys was noticably absent. Much of the stuff on sakle was noticable cheaper than the UK - Spinney's Supermarket in Senzo Mall in Hurghada. From toiletries, to TV's, through food basics to swimming goggles.0
