Hi,
i have managed to find someone in scotland that hires out 50cm martini glass for £8.50 each which to me seems like a great price because we need 20 and all the rest i have seen have been £18+
they, however, live 3.5 hours away from me. i am going to look into courier service for this. does anyone know a rough weight of one of these? if a courier will be too much my aunt lives closer so hoping if i give her money she will collect them for me before the wedding.
any help would be great thanks!

you could try using a website and ask the person whos renting them out to weight them, might be approx £30? if not might be better idea to hire closer to home xAccept that some days you're the pigeon, and some days you're the statue. Only fools are statues every day. (15.09.12 cant wait!)0

Is 50cm the height? Do you know any other dimensions? Are they glass or acrylic of some sort?
If you can find the weight you can go to FedEx or UPS pages and get a quote for a parcel once you know the dimensions and weight.
On ebay I found a 60cm high one with £7 for postage, so could work out expensive to courier 20 of them - might end up cheaper to buy them!
ETA: that £7 was for economy postage.
EATA: found this link with a 50cm that weighs 6kg. £69 with UPS!! Perhaps find a small local courier that you can phone for a quote! If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.0 -
you may well find that a courier wont take them with them being lass. However Royal Mail special delivery at your local post office willMad Mum to 3 wonderful children, 2 foster kittens and 2 big fat cats that never made it to a new home!

thanks for the replys.
the seller did say she would go and get them weighed and let me know. i would probably have to send as fragile as i know they are glass which would cost more.
may just go for the fishbowl option for my tables. its so hard to pick what to do, i am not allowed candels, confetti, crystals so think my tables are going to look bare as cant really jazz them up and i dont want a flower table centre
thanks
