Just to confirm the math:
(1 - ((1 - 0.021) ^ 12) ) * 100 = 22.48% annualised fall.

I'm going to wait two years and buy a couple to rent out. At that kind of discount you can't fail.
Cheers for the heads up.0 -

The smart money is on waiting 5 years, then people will be paying you to buy their house.

No but you will see house prices rise around 20% over the next 3 years.
Says the man who typed........I think prices will stagnate. People will never drop the price of their house. If somebody thinks their place is worth £250k they will just wait until that figure is achieved be it now 1 year or even 5 years time. Houses just won't go on the market.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0 -
Its a real shame that the level of discussion on this forum is ruined by a few attention seekers like macacque posting inaccurate information in the hope that someone, anyone will notice them and give them some sort of attention, even if it is negative.
What's the story with these individuals, did they not get enough love from their parents? Perhaps they got too much?
My thanks to you for giving my post attention. I certainly do want this otherwise, what is the point of me penning these pearls of wisdom.
On the subject of getting enough love, I definitely support your sentiments here. Guru Baba Macaque is always up for more love (applicants should be under 25 and no fat chicks).0
