Playstation 2 Network Access Code

I know i'm a bit far behind on these now but i've only just got a playstation 2 after (finally) upgrading from a playstation 1. I barely play games but some of my friends have been playing them for years and play them online too. One of my friends kindly gave me his Network Adaptor to connect my playstation 2 online, but i dont' have an access code as he has already used his one. (his playstation broke and he bought a new slimline one wiht a built in network adaptor hence giving me his network adaptor)
Does anyone have a playstation network access code that they haven't and don't intend to use? I've tried to buy one but they don't sell them![:\](https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/resources/emoji/confused.png ":\")
