Hi all,
bit of a silly question but you never know..
i recieved my mortgage offer from spml just before christmas.. some issues regarding service charges have come up(the selling agent misavisised me and then backtracked) this with a couple of other things has started to make us have second thoughts...
advised the selling agent that i may be withdrawing from sale and have had a look on rightmove..
anyway...... my question is if i find another property at the same price can i transfer my offer? i know the valuation will need to be done ect its just the whole mortgage process took sooo long last time!
TIA

Whole new process again I'm afraid based on the new property - however they may not need personal documentation again i.e proof of ID and address etc.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. If they offered the first time there is no reason why they should not offer this time around - unless your adverse history has got worse they may offer a different deal.

Thanks,
my credit history has got better.. had a default removed and am now on electrol role..
also another 2 months of good payments from my current a/c.
my recent loan is showing on equifax now.. but as it is new it doesnt show any rating yet..
do you think i might even get a better deal now?
also does it make much of a difference if you put down 10 or 15 percent the purchase price for the new place will be 139,995
