they aren't as expensive as you'd imagine - well I don't think anyway. I think I paid around £50 for my red KGs - and I've had so much wear out of them, they're definitely value for money. My wedding shoes (hopefully) are Miss KG's paparazzi in silver. I got them for £48.99 and will definitely wear them again.
I say hopefully cause I'm not sure they will go with my tea-length dress, if they don't I will probably end up with Else's (Rainbow Club) Chianti shoes.0 -
How do you find them so cheap??? Never seen any around the £50 mark!
Above are both lovely!Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge #148 - £59.93

Hahaaaa sorry!! They are very good though - sizes do appear randomly so if there is a pair in the sale that you have your eye on it's worth looking periodically just incase they appear.
I wanted to try the cream version (with diamante bits) of my silver MissKG ones to see if they'd go better with my dress. But they didn't have any in my size in the sale. But one day I just happened to check and hey presto there they were and still in the sale - hurrah!! Just a shame they weren't right - the diamante were so luxurious and not cheap and tacky like a lot of diamante shoes I've seen, but the colour was too yellow for my dress. I am so proud that I actually returned them and didn't just keep them cause they were so nice!0 -
I buy most of my shoes online from places that have free returns (gutted that Schuh doesn't, and my nearest is 50 miles away!). Debenhams has free returns... lol Kurt Geiger do too.
I just got my shoes from Schuh - at least, I think they'll be my shoes, they're slightly higher than I wanted. Am currently wearing them in around the house and getting used to them. Although Schuh don't do free returns you do have 365 days to return them (!) so you could always hang onto them until you are near a shop and then take them back.0 -

That's what I have to do. Or pay. But to be honest I don't like the fact that they're hanging over me in a "I must take them back, I must not forget to take them back, I must remember to take them back" kinda way. I'd rather just get rid as soon as I know I don't want them.
This is my only gripe with Schuh -I have ordered off them a lot (got some fabulous Rocket Dog 'ugg' style fluffy boots with a massive wedge heel and lace ups - I'm a short !!!! so don't do flats and I have rather muscular calfs that struggle with normal knee highs). Most of the time I don't return my shoes ha! (Hence why I'm so proud that I sent back the cream Miss KGs). But the ones I've got sat upstairs waiting to be returned were going to be wedding shoes but are just not suitable.
The thing that bugs me is I don't go to Nottingham regularly (my nearest Schuh) in fact I haven't been there in the last 365 days. Or I visit somewhere that has a Schuh unplanned and don't have them on me (grrrr, went to stay with a friend about 30-45 mins west of Brighton, while I was there she suggested popping to Brighton - in all the years I've stayed with her we've never been to Brighton therefore I didn't have them with me!!)
Personally I'd rather they did a 28 days free returns.(Lol case of 'can never please everyone all of the time' me thinks!)
I am actually making a trip to Nottingham next week. It's a bit of a waste of diesel really but a friend and I are off to a Mac Cosmetics store for a consultation. (Are you seeing a theme here? - Nottingham is also my closest Mac 'counter', 50 miles away). So I can take them back then. (Part of why I arranged the consultation so soon, I don't get married till next July, is to get rid of the Schuh shoes!)0
