Re the credit card/overdraft dilemma- I'm no expert at all but I think I would do whatever you feel more motivated by doing - so if you really want to see the credit cards gone first, then hit them first. I suppose there are no guarantees about the 0% deals still being available, but I don't see why not given that we aren't living in the best of economic times, but they don't seem to have changed that dramatically to what they were pre credit crunch.
Or you could hedge your bets and take the half and half approach...
Have you looked into other bank accounts - there might be one that has an interest free and fee free OD? They might not allow a £2500 OD but maybe if you got this down by half or more it would be possible.0 -
No that hadn't occurred to me - is it very stressful or complicated to move bank accounts? I will do some research tomorrow!
I am busy photographing items to sell on gumtree...have quite a few items so hopefully even if a few sell then I'll make a bit extra towards the overdraft!SAVING house deposit! :A0
