Pet Food Query - Tesco Advanced Own Brands

Hi,

Has anybody bought the new tesco own brand pet foods?

I am due to bulk purchase my cat food, however with the Nutricat food at £6 for 2.5kg vs £20 for the usual Purina Pro Plan I get, seems like a no-brainer.

Just before I buy a bulk amount, has anybody actually bought this yet and fed their cat/dog and has it gone down well?

I have looked at the ingredients and it seems to be similar to my usual brand so I think should be okay..

All views appreciated!

Thanks!

My elderly cat (she's just turned 18!) didn't like it either; but she is fussy! and I found a large, round, red coloured dog type biscuit in it, which I'm about to send back to T's for an explanation!
    :)
  • Both mine and my mum's cat refused to eat it, complete waste of money as it's gone in the bin.

Wow. Not a good review then!!

If I bulk buy it and they don't like it do I have 28 days to take back the unopened ones?

I wouldn't even bother buying it dgm! It's likely your cat won't like it either, even if the ingredients look similar.

Buy them something you know they like!

My two cats (both just over a year old) eat it fine, they were on PaH Purely before. I'm not sure I'd buy it at full price though, I shall probably stick to the Purely :)
