  • No maintenance from step daughters mum as she is on long term benefits and hubby wont ask her for money. Havent included the increase in cb and tax credits as no idea how long that will take to sort, her mum wont be happy about losing that...

    You are right about multi room... I'll put my foot down on that, will need to get a freeview card (about £25) for the old sky box we have and get it wired into the dish (cost???) for her or else hubby will go mental saying i'm playing favourites.... Arghhh

  • Not really got anything much to sell to pay off studio, when i'm sorting through i will try and ebay stuff but my time is so limited that i need to dedicate it to work, i'm supposed to do 35+ hours a week but due to hubbys shifts ans childcare its only workibg out as 25, plus i'm the only one able to sort stuff for step daughter to move him as hubby would just dump all my stuff!

    You will only get £5 maximum. You need to insist that the SD camoes with a letter from her mother relinquishing the Child Benefit; without that sort out any other benefits is impossible.

    Expect it to take 8-12 weeks to sort out the benefits even with the letter.

    For this I assume that Sd is going to college?
