This debt wil be statute barred if she has not acknowledged the debt for 6 years. Does she have a CCJ against her?
There are plenty of letters to use on here that you can send off to the company stating that the debt is now statute barred (so can't be taken to court)! Remember to send everything in writing and don't speak to them on the phone.

    HI, Tks

She has never had any CCJ against her, could you please tell me where to find the letter to use for the company,

    Tks for you help
  • Someone, somewhere, has bought this old debt probably for about 1p in the £ and is hoping they can frighten someone into paying.

It's obviously statute barred, and they need to be told so. Use the template letter suggested.
