Recommended Waxing Kit?

I've now gone for over a year with the Boots IPL, and am left with chicken skin on the underarms, each lovingly topped with a little black dot.
They're not shifting. When I tried waxing, it looked much better.
So I think it might be the way to go from now on.
I tried the poundland waxing strips, and although they do work, they don't grip as well as heated wax. So, I was hoping for some recommendations on a proper heated wax kit, pros, cons and avoids. Thank you.

I used an epilator on my underarms and it hurt... a lot!!
When the hairs regrew I used 'Simply Wax' a white wax that you melt in the microwave, apply then whip off. No need for paper or fabric strips. The effect was really good. Looked much better that shaving too.0 -
That does sound good, especially if it means not acquiring yet another electronic device.0
