Recommended Waxing Kit?

I've now gone for over a year with the Boots IPL, and am left with chicken skin on the underarms, each lovingly topped with a little black dot.

They're not shifting. When I tried waxing, it looked much better.
So I think it might be the way to go from now on.

I tried the poundland waxing strips, and although they do work, they don't grip as well as heated wax. So, I was hoping for some recommendations on a proper heated wax kit, pros, cons and avoids. Thank you. :)

I used an epilator on my underarms and it hurt... a lot!!

When the hairs regrew I used 'Simply Wax' a white wax that you melt in the microwave, apply then whip off. No need for paper or fabric strips. The effect was really good. Looked much better that shaving too.

That does sound good, especially if it means not acquiring yet another electronic device. :D
