Prima Magazine money saving ideas

had to laugh at Prima today, in their money-saving tips article, under 'weekly shop', they said you could save money on a DVD player by going to Aldi on a Thursday. I know Aldi (and Lidl) have some good deals but it's hardly moneysaving if you start picking up electrical items amongst your groceries each week!
My mantra...it's not a bargain unless you were going to buy it anyway!
