If you're talking about the stuff Lakeland sells, I tried it several years ago but thought it was vile.Finished up throwing it away! You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0

I'm always suspicious of these things - the processing they go through is probably going to result in horrid things like trans fats. Just use butter, but less of it. Kerrygold do a spreadable pure butter (no oil added), which makes it easier to add just a scrape.0

Anyone else tried these, and if so what did you think? I was intrigued every time I saw them, but not intrigued enough to pay £3.99. Last week I spotted a pack on their bargain shelf for .99p and have tried them tonight - have to say I am NOT impressed, they have a very peculiar after taste....would anyone know if this is just my taste buds or could it be that the short sell by date (BBE April 07) means they are not at their best?0

Can't help you - I've never tried them, but I have been intrigued too - however based on your findings I don't think I'll bother!!"A simple life freely chosen is a source of strength. Do not be pursuaded into buying what you do not need or cannot afford." Quaker Faith & Practice 1.02.410

We use these as part of a low fat diet.
We think they are pretty good and I've not notice the after taste.
Not necessarily money saving though (although dieting is).0
