But savers can be disincentivised from hoarding, and forced to spend in the economy.
You recently stated you were freeing up cash to buy a BTL, which of course you haven't bought.
However, I'm wondering. Where have you put that money? And indeed, where did you get it from? You don't invest on the stockmarket, apparently, as houses are better investments. Hate metal investments with a passion....and you were able to get access to the cash.
Which leaves me wondering...where was your money, and where is it now?
 You're not hoarding, are you?0

I know the Housepricecrash guys like to post "Nothing to see here, move along" when this kind of headline appears but the fact that their thread has had nearly 5k views today kind of undermines that relaxed air. The Rightmove thread which reports a drop in asking price is much less visited over the same period.
Love it when they are forced to read your comments on the newspaper website after they thought they had censored you
The other one I like is when Rightmove goes up. Oh then it's who cares about asking prices etc? This week just because it's down they decide it's gospel.
As it goes, they would have been better off leaving the bulls on the website. Now our views get national coverage. Yesterday was funny. :rotfl:We love Sarah O Grady0

Upon what should savers be forced to spend their money ?
Perhaps there should be a parliamentary petition or a poll to develop this area of the economy.
 J_B.
How about spending it on an "adopt a Hoodie" scheme?
When he wants a Flat Screen Television, we just buy him one.
New pair of Nike's? Just buy them.
A night out at the local drugs club? No problem.
That way, they will feel they have a 'stake in society' and will become 'engaged' with the local community.....0
