The competition launches on 15th August and all details will be housed on our facebook page all you need to do is head over to our page and ‘like’ us. We will be tweeting too so make sure you follow us to receive regular updates, and our blog will be updated with new details on how to enter and what you can win so make sure you keep checking in for your chance to get involved.

Over the next eight weeks we will be running themed competitions each week, all of which require you to view our new TV ad to find the answers. The prizes, including an iPod and docking station, tickets to Sealife Centres, salsa dancing lessons, children’s bedroom makeovers, New York cab hire, and of course free paint, are all inspired by our exciting TV ad. To be in with a chance of qualifying for the New York holiday prize make sure you enter at least 4 of the 8 weeks. Further competition details along with full terms and conditions will be uploaded to the Crown blog when the competition goes live.

New York Competition
Terms & Conditions

1. Entrants to the competition are bound by these terms and conditions.
2. No purchase necessary.
3. The competition is operated by Crown Paints Ltd. Crown Paints Ltd. Is a company incorporated in England under number 06624576. The registered office of Crown Paints Ltd. is at Crown House, Hollins Road, Darwen, Lancashire BB3 0BG.
4. Entrants to the competition must be resident in the UK.
5. One prize will be awarded to an overall winner; this prize is a trip for two to New York as outlined in the competition blog that can be viewed here http://!!!!!!!/mX09dl
   Seven other individual prizes of an iPod & Docking station, salsa dancing lessons, signed copies of David Bray illustrations, New York cab hire, family tickets to Sealife Centre, a children’s bedroom makeover and the paint featured in the TV ad.
6. There is no cash alternative for any of the prizes.
7. To enter the competition visit the crown paints blog http://blog.crownpaint.co.uk/ or the Crown Facebook page http://on.fb.me/cnxUJ7 and follow the instructions on the Facebook tab re how to enter. The winner will be chosen at random from the pool of entrants who have answered the questions correctly. Only one entry per individual is allowed. In the case of multiple entries, the first entry submitted will be taken as the entry.
8. The New York trip winner will be notified after on Monday October 10th 2011 via email. If we do not hear from you either by email or telephone within five working days of sending out the Notification Email, your prize will be forfeited and another winner will be selected and contacted until the prize has been issued.
9. The winner must be resident of the UK.
10. For reasons outside their reasonable control, Crown Paints Ltd. reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equivalent or lesser value.
11. The following persons are not eligible to enter the competition: (i) employees of any business involved or associated with the competition (including Crown Paints Ltd. and its associated companies, any appointed agency, including BJL (UK) Limited, and any other agent or representative) and (ii) any such person’s family or household members.
12. The closing date for the competition is Friday 7th October 2011.
13. No responsibility is accepted by Crown Paints Ltd. or its agent for entries incompletely or incorrectly completed or not received for whatever reason. Neither Crown Paints Ltd. nor any appointed agent will accept responsibility for any technical or other error that might arise whilst submitting an entry, nor for the failure to store any image.
14. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party outside of Crown Paints Ltd. and / or BJL without the individual’s prior consent.
15. Crown Paints Ltd. reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
16. In the event of any dispute regarding the competition, the decision of Crown Paints Ltd.is final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into. Crown Paints Ltd. reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions.
17. Crown Paints Ltd. may withdraw this competition where necessary if circumstances arise that are beyond its control at any time without notice.
18. English law governs these terms and conditions and the English courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or in relation to these terms and conditions.

however i cannot see anything on the blog that specifically says what is/is not included in the NY prize - can anyone see?

once on their facebook page through the link that weewons posted on the left had side of the page about 1/3 of the way down you will see competition wriiten, click on that and it will take you to the question. HTH
