Song request cards for invitations

Just thought I'd share my vistaprint business card idea... I am planning to send one out to each person in my invites, which are gatefold so I can put these inside the flaps using photo corners so they are easy to get out.
I am sooo happy with them, they match our purple butterfly theme really well and are really professional looking.

I paid a little bit to not have the vistaprint adress printed on the back, and paid postage, but got 250 for about £5. When they are returned, I will create a list of songs for the DJ to choose from.
The spares will be put out on the night so people can request songs.

Anyway, just thought I'd share!!!

What a really cool idea!!! I may need to steal this lol. I love vista print, we are having purple too (black white and purple) Still trying to find cheap invites as not really up for making my own.

I to thought about this but thought we would be innundated with way to many songs,if they want a song played they can ask the dj on the night

I was hoping to do something similar after a friend had done it for her wedding.

Those cards are lovely, I am also having a similar colour scheme!! Simple but striking!

really nice cards - we used the same idea and included something along those lines on our information card with a partition to cut off and return with the rsvp where guest were asked to tell us their favourite song for the play list and out of all our rsvp's i would say only 40% - 50% have returned the song choice card!! I think some people think there may be a hidden agenda rather than as we explained it as being to ensure everyone enjoys the dancing!!

I'm doing this via the website we've got. If you're looking at using one gettingmarried.co.uk is really easy and useful. you can ask your guests loads of questions and they have a central point to reply to, so if someone has already suggested a cong, they could think of another one.

We have a gettingmarried site too, but I wanted to send something concrete out.

I am not expecting them all to come back, so we won't be inundated, and if 2 people choose the same, we're even less likely to have too many. Also, if we don't like a song it will get "lost" in the post!!!

ETA: Dolly, I am making my own invites, so they won't exactly match, but they're close enough for me!

we're doing something similar, except there won't be a DJ so we'll be incorporating suggestions into the playlist. I love the look of the card - ours was going to be included on the RSVP itself but that looks so pretty...

we do reserve the right to 'lose' any truly awful replies

Ive just totally stolen this! we had this idea but didnt know how to word it but used vistaprint for everything so i have just made and ordered these to match our theme! happy days!
