anyone work for SONY? is the PS3 going to be delayed until Sept in the UK?

hi, i have heard on the grapevine that the ps3 is going to be delayed until sept 2007!
anyone from sony confirm this?

Don't think anyone from Sony would look on the forum and if they did I cannot see them commenting on a slip on release until it is confirmed in the press etc....

Would not be surprised if the PS3 release date slips past March as the PSP slipped about twice but it got the European release

Where did you hear about the date slip?

I wouldn't be surprised if it slips, but for the moment the launch date is still March.

And since Sony will have allocated about 15 for the UK they will sell out straight away. To be fair 15 is about as many as they allegedly make per week at the moment

Really cannot see it being anywhere as near as good as the Wii even when it does come out.

They are aimed at different markets though

I have a 360 and HD DVD add on and if I have the money I would like a PS3 and a wii as they all offer different things

Surely if the ps3 does slip that far, microsoft could really cash in, lets face it the 360 is due a good price drop.

Apparantly once the new version xbox 360 comes out sometime in March (as suggested by the websites) the core and premium versions are going to get a price drop
