Your debt is settled with studio as they have sold your debt to robinson way, so they are now who you need to deal with."I once grumbled at having no boots - until I met a man with no feet" Anon

ok thanks ;-)
so if i have an old debt (2000) that was over six years ago isnt on my report do i still need to pay it ?0 -
No, if a debt is over 6 years old it is statute barred.
It doesnt mean it isnt still owed, it means they cant chase you for it. It will have been on your credit
report but will automatically have fallen off after 6 years.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Its only statute barred if you haven't made a payment towards it for 6years or acknowledged in writing you owe the debt.
So if you've paid anything towards it in the last 6years its not statute barred.
If a debt is statute barred they can chase you for it until you tell them you believe its SB and do not intend to pay. After that they should stop chasing you.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
