Can CSA Take Child Tax Credit as income

Hi
I am the NRP and the CSA have taken my Child Tax Credit for my child that lives with us into account as income in my Maintenance Calculation.
I don't work but my husband does. We don't get Working Tax Credit because my husband earns to much. I only get Child Benefit and Child Tax Credit.
They have worked it out because I have a net weekly income between £5 to £100 I will pay the flat rate of £5 a week.
Is this right can CSA take my Child Tax Credit?
Thanks

The CSA will use CTC as income, and assess based on it. If the NRP is the primary earner in the household they will also use the WTC.0 -
has he notified the CSA that a child is living with you?0

yes, I realised that. It doesn't really change the question, though.
OP - yes, they can take your tax credit but equally, you have had a reduction for the fact that you have another child living with you. Many would argue the 'first' children should come first and that making that reduction is unacceptable so somewhere along the line, it seems to balance out as both 'sides' are equally indignant! It's frustrating where ever you stand, I think.0 -
CTC is usually paid to the the person receiving CB and is not included in a CSA assessment.0
