Need to find about four psychology textbooks for other half.
As you might guess these are all very expensive. oh has tried at uni but none available second hand.
has anyone got any suggestions about cheap booksellers or ways to recuce prices with vouchers codes ?

Some suggested alternatives to buying new:
At the University where I work, we have a twice weekly newsletter that goes around all staff and students which has 'wanted' ads. Sometimes a specific department/subject will also have its own message board you could advertise on. This might attract the attention of those with no longer needed books who haven't yet got round to selling them. A card on the department noticeboard might also be successful.
There is also the library. The University library should have copies of set texts and she/he may be able to take them out on extended loan or juggle borrowing as needed. Also, if you join your local library they will probably order copies of books (can sometimes take a few weeks to arrive) and she/he could simply keep renewing them.
I would suggest that if you are in a situation where cost for texts is prohibitive (and they can be v expensive) a starting point would be a chat with the staff in OH's University department and library, I think she/he'd find them very helpful.
Could be alternatives to buying?

Try https://www.abebooks.co.uk - and if you are a member of quidco, go through that. It has the most complete catalogue of many second hand booksellers, and the prices they have that I am aware of.0

Have you tried ebay - I sold mine on ebay - a lot of interest but still sold for about half what I paid for them.0

Have you tried here:
