Oh they are lovely - really simple and effective. I wouldn't tart them up too much other wise they'd lose their simplicity and modern feel. But how about writing your names within the knot all entwined? Not sure how easy that is to on vistaprint card - whether they are shiny and pen resistant. You could add a touch of glitter (using a cocktail stick as a painbrush for the glue). Lol I'm obsessed with glitter at the moment - that's the third invite I've suggested adding some to lol.

If not glitter, which I'm all for, could you have a go at following the line of the rope with some string to make it 3D? Will be a bit time consuming and I'm not sure how well it would stick on glossy card, but maybe if you indented it with a blunt pencil then glued in the indent with PVA? They're not difficult knots so it might work? Sorry just thinking aloud quickly.

You could also get coloured string to match your colour scheme :)

How about sticking some flat back crystals onto them, maybe where the rings entwine. I used some of these on my place name settings, they look really effective :)

My friend had invites with love knots on & they put their names in them as already suggested. Looked really good.

I was going to suggest glitter pens, but I see that others have already mentioned that!

What about using a gold or silver marker pen and marking over the swirl logo with it?

OR, (on the principal that less is sometimes more) leave the cards as they are but get packets of little silver or gold hearts - similar to these: http://direct.hobbycraft.co.uk/products-Paper-Cellar-Red-Heart-Gem-Embellishments_337129.htm - and put a few pinches of them into each card, so that when the recipient opens their card the little sparkly hearts will flutter out. Sweet!

Good luck - the cards are very striking; you have great taste! xx
