Was in Asda (Bootle)today. They still had a few things, including the cars monopoly (£9.98), spy mater lego set (£5), and there was one pedal car for £22.50. That was not in there the other day so not sure if someone brought one back. A few transformers and and star wars things with smaller reductions. Ours never had any of the peppa things so can't comment on that. Also had a lego buzz and woody rescue set for 7.49. Not near as much stuff as the other day, but still a bit and a couple different things. Might be worth a look but probably not a special trip.

Do you really expect a manager to ring around to find you something which they are probably selling at a £10 loss?
I'd expect the manager(or perhaps they could delegate the job to another staff member if they were too busy) to be delivering excellent customer service as per Asda's mottos regardless of whether it was being sold at a loss or not (I doubt very much they're actually making a loss as I'm sure even at the reduced price Asda will still make a profit).

Surely by doing this for a customer they would be boosting customer relations and give a better impression of their store/company and be more likely to keep their custom for future purchases.
